Generate AI Policy

Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation recognizes the growing role of generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools in research and academic writing. While we encourage the responsible and ethical use of such technologies, authors, reviewers, and editors must adhere to the following guidelines to maintain the integrity and originality of scholarly work.

 1. Use of Generative AI Tools

·         Authors may use generative AI tools (such as text generators, language models, or data synthesis software) to assist with drafting, editing, or enhancing their manuscripts.

·         The use of AI tools must be transparent and explicitly acknowledged within the manuscript, detailing the nature and extent of AI assistance.

·         Authors remain fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of the content produced, including any AI-generated text.

 2. Prohibition of Undisclosed AI Use

·         Submissions containing AI-generated content without proper disclosure will be considered a breach of ethical standards.

·         Undisclosed use of generative AI that leads to plagiarism, misrepresentation, or fabrication of data is strictly prohibited.

 3. AI and Authorship

·         Generative AI tools cannot be listed as authors or credited as contributors.

·         Human authors must critically review and verify all AI-assisted content to ensure its validity and scholarly value.

 4. Reviewers and Editors

·         Reviewers and editors should be aware of the potential use of AI in manuscripts and assess the originality and quality accordingly.

·         If AI-generated content raises concerns about academic integrity or ethical compliance, it should be reported to the editorial office for further investigation.

 5. Commitment to Ethical Standards
