Publication Ethics and Misconducts
Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation upholds the highest standards of publication ethics to ensure the integrity, transparency, and quality of the scholarly publishing process. All authors, reviewers, and editors involved with Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation are expected to adhere to ethical principles and best practices.
1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors
Authors submitting manuscripts to Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation must:
· Ensure that their work is original and has not been published elsewhere.
· Avoid plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.
· Properly cite all sources and give appropriate credit to previous work.
· Accurately report data, findings, and methodologies.
· Disclose any potential conflicts of interest.
· Obtain necessary ethical approvals for research involving humans or animals.
· Submit manuscripts only when all co-authors have agreed to the submission and publication.
2. Ethical Responsibilities of Reviewers
Reviewers should:
· Conduct unbiased, constructive, and timely reviews.
· Maintain confidentiality of the manuscript and related information.
· Declare any conflicts of interest that might affect their objectivity.
· Avoid using unpublished information for personal gain.
· Provide clear, respectful, and detailed feedback to authors.
3. Ethical Responsibilities of Editors
Editors are responsible for:

· Making decisions based on the manuscript’s academic merit without discrimination.
· Maintaining confidentiality of submitted manuscripts.
· Identifying and preventing publication of unethical research or misconduct.
· Managing conflicts of interest among editorial team members.
4. Handling Misconduct
CJCEI takes allegations of publication misconduct seriously. Cases of suspected unethical behavior, including but not limited to plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, and authorship disputes, will be investigated thoroughly. Actions may include:
· Rejection of the manuscript.
· Retraction or correction of published articles.
· Notification of authors’ institutions or funding bodies.
· Banning authors from future submissions.
5. Plagiarism Detection
All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software. Manuscripts found to contain significant unattributed content will be rejected or withdrawn.
6. Conflicts of Interest
All parties involved in the publication process must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence their judgment or the integrity of the research.
