Author Guidelines
Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation invites authors to submit original, high-quality research articles in the fields of education, pedagogy, and innovative practices. The journal is dedicated to advancing knowledge and promoting academic dialogue in contemporary educational research. Below are the guidelines for submitting articles to the journal:
1. Manuscript Submission
All manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal’s submission system. Authors should create an account and log in to submit their manuscript and follow the necessary steps to ensure proper submission.
2. Types of Submissions
Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation accepts the following types of submissions:
- Research Articles: Original research that advances theory, practice, or policy in education.
- Review Articles: Comprehensive reviews on a specific topic related to education and innovation.
- Short Communications: Brief reports of important findings or theoretical discussions in education.
- Case Studies: In-depth analysis of specific educational settings or practices.
3. Manuscript Formatting
- File Type: Manuscripts should be submitted in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt for the main text, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Margins: 1-inch (2.54 cm) on all sides.
- Page Numbers: Please include page numbers in the header or footer.
- Headings: Use numbered headings for sections (e.g., 1. Introduction, 2. Methods, 3. Results, etc.).
- References: Use the APA (7th Edition) referencing style for citations and bibliography.
4. Title and Abstract
- Title: The title should be concise, informative, and accurately reflect the content of the manuscript.
- Abstract: Provide an abstract of no more than 250 words, summarizing the aim, methodology, results, and conclusions of the study.
- Keywords: Include 3 to 5 keywords that best describe the content of the article.
5. Main Body of the Manuscript
- Introduction: Provide a clear background and rationale for the research. State the research problem and objectives.
- Literature Review: Present a brief review of relevant literature, establishing the context for the research.
- Methodology: Describe the research design, participants, data collection methods, and analysis procedures.
- Results and Discussion: Present and analyze the findings of the study. Discuss the implications of the results and how they relate to existing literature.
- Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and suggest areas for future research or practical applications.
- Acknowledgments: If applicable, mention any funding sources or individuals who contributed to the research but are not listed as authors.
6. Figures and Tables
- Figures and tables should be embedded within the text, and each should be numbered sequentially (e.g., Figure 1, Table 1).
- Include clear and descriptive captions for all figures and tables.
- Ensure that any figures or images meet the journal's quality standards (300 dpi or higher for images).
7. Ethical Considerations
- All research submitted to the journal must adhere to ethical standards in research, including obtaining appropriate ethical approval where necessary.
- Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest and funding sources related to the research.
- Manuscripts should not have been published or submitted elsewhere for consideration.
8. Plagiarism and Originality
- Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation operates a strict policy on plagiarism and expects authors to submit only original work.
- Authors must ensure that their manuscript is free from any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.
- Manuscripts may be subject to plagiarism detection tools.
9. Peer Review Process
