Peer Review Process

Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and quality through a rigorous peer review process. Our peer review system ensures that all manuscripts published in the journal meet the criteria of originality, relevance, and scientific rigor.

1. Submission and Initial Screening

Upon submission, all manuscripts undergo an initial editorial screening to check for compliance with the journal’s scope, author guidelines, and ethical standards. Manuscripts that do not meet these requirements may be returned to the authors without further review.

2. Double-Blind Peer Review

Journal of Contemporary Education and Innovation employs a double-blind peer review system, meaning that both the reviewers and the authors remain anonymous throughout the review process. This approach ensures an unbiased and fair evaluation of the manuscript.

3. Reviewer Selection

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field of study. Reviewers are selected based on their expertise, experience, and absence of conflicts of interest.

4. Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:

·         Originality and contribution to the field

·         Clarity of research objectives and questions

·         Appropriateness and rigor of methodology

·         Validity and reliability of data and analysis

·         Quality of discussion and interpretation of results

·         Relevance to the journal’s scope

·         Quality of writing and adherence to formatting guidelines

5. Review Outcome

Based on reviewers’ comments and recommendations, the editorial team makes one of the following decisions:

·         Accept without revision

·         Accept with minor revisions

·         Request major revisions

·         Reject

Authors will receive detailed feedback and are encouraged to address all reviewers’ comments carefully if revisions are requested.

 6. Revision and Final Decision

Authors are given a specified timeframe to submit revised manuscripts. Revised manuscripts may be re-evaluated by the original reviewers or additional experts to ensure that concerns have been adequately addressed. The final decision rests with the editorial board.

7. Confidentiality and Ethics

All participants in the peer review process must adhere to strict confidentiality. Reviewers and editors are required to disclose any potential conflicts of interest. CJCEI also upholds ethical standards and will take appropriate action if ethical violations such as plagiarism or data fabrication are detected.
